and international artists, in a wide spectrum of media and genres.
The exhibit will run throught April 14th.
In our back gallery, we will be featuring the recent photogravures by Judy Pfaff. Pfaff, who has exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. She recently completed these stunning photogravures with Tandem Press of Wisconsin.
Published in small editions on delicate and carefully selected papers, the works size and subject matter vary greatly. A diptych photogravure of a wooded forest scene with a soft, serene feel, leads into a lily pad piece made up of 9 separate panels, ranging from representational to schematic, abstracted breakdowns of lily pads. The Friday March 9th opening is in conjunction with Kellie Rae Theiss' opening of "Collecting Art-2001", a group showing of her gallery's artists. This exhibit will also run through April 14th. Flanders Contemporary Art is located at 400 North First Avenue, first floor in the Wyman Building. Gallery hours are 10 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday, and by appointment.
